Pyramid Healthcare Inc Pyramid Healthcare Inc Hammonton, NJ Hammonton, NJ Full-time Full-time $50,000 - $54,000 a year $50,000 - $54,000 a year Job description Pyramid Healthcare's Detox and Residential Treatment Center in Hammonton, NJ provides a trauma-informed, person-centered treatment model for men and women in search of meaningful, long-term recovery.
In addition to evidence-based treatment, clients participate in scheduled groups, individual counseling and a variety of elective groups that support their transition to a sober lifestyle in an expansive setting.
Counselors are responsible for conducting both individual and group therapy.
Responsibilities:
Initiates and develops resident treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues and other staff.
Evaluates and addresses behavioral and emotional needs of clients.
Complete level of care assessment in a timely manner with the client Refer clients to the next appropriate aftercare upon completion of treatment Performs individual and process group therapy sessions including preparing materials for sessions.
Communicating with referral sources and company representatives.
Participates in community meetings with clients.
Completes family sessions as necessary.
Receives phone calls from support staff as necessary regarding client behavioral and emotional needs.
Maintains a safe, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
Education:
1) A Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services field) or other related field.
Must have a licensure or certification related to counseling (LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC, CADC, LCADC).
